Recently, the XFL 2023 season, which is the first season under the ownership of Dwayne Johnson and his ex-wife, Dany Garcia concluded with a success. Achieving this massive accomplishment of the duo came with a tribute from one of the XFL players to The Rock. It wouldn’t be incorrect to say that the fans of The Great One are present across the globe. One such person would be the experienced defensive lineman of Arlington Renegades, T.J. Barnes.
But, sadly, the player with over 10 years of experience in the sport has now announced his retirement. This declaration by the player came through his Instagram post two days back.
The 32-year-old XFL player posted an age-old picture of The Rock in his signature pose. Alongside the iconic photograph of Johnson was a picture of Barnes replicating the exact pose during a match.
In the caption of the post, he wrote, “The Jabroni beating, pie eating, trailblazing, eyebrow raising, XFL Champ! Had to strike the pose since my childhood idol was in attendance.”
With this pose of Johnson from his active days in wrestling, we cannot forget his deep association with the game of football.
