After months of speculations, WWE finally announced its sale to Endeavor, the UFC’s parent company on Monday. According to the new deal, Vince McMahon’s Stamford-based promotion will merge with UFC to form a new publicly traded company. The combined value of the two companies is said to be in excess of $21 billion.
In an interview, Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel and Vince McMahon CNBC’s Scott Wapner, Wapner told Vince that he wanted $9 billion and now has a valuation in excess of his ask, the veteran promoter said, “I’m a visionary.”
Vince borrowed the nickname of Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins to validate himself. He has been referred to as The Architect, The Authority and Monday Night Messiah, but in October 2022 Rollins said his favorite was The Visionary.
Before Vince McMahon decided to use Rollins’ favorite nickname, Ari Emanuel lauded his new partner for being a visionary.
