Kali Muscle rose to fame in the mid-2010s as one of the more polarizing social media personalities. Over the years, many bodybuilding fans have labeled the YouTuber as a fake natty. Recently, the Xcon to Icon: The Kali Muscle Story author spoke about how he regrets using steroids. In a YouTube short titled ‘I Regret Taking Steroids,’ Kali revealed what he would tell his 30-year-old self about steroid use.

The video started with the former enhanced bodybuilder sitting on an inclined bench. In the YouTube short, Kali Muscle began the video by saying, “I am scared of weights now.” The man who often challenged the limits of his strength in his videos expressed how he felt about the past.

Wheels recently took to his official YouTube channel after his recovery and shared an update about the gym. He captioned the video, “Our First Batch of Equipment is Ready!” he began the video by first flexing the shoulder press machine from the new Pro Series by Tough Stuff.

“I was just thinking just a second ago, man, I used to go like five wheels on it, I look back like, why?” said the former bodybuilder. Evidently, he felt the repercussions later. 

During his prime, the 48-year-old weighed over 245 lbs and could easily do bodyweight movements like muscle ups. “Somebody asked me what would I tell my 30 years self. I didn’t know what bodybuilding even was till I was 34,” said the millionaire bodybuilder and author

“I would tell myself, don’t do bodybuilding shows and don’t take all that synthetic, made in a lab,” said Kali Muscle. While he confessed to learning a lot through the sport, the YouTuber implied that natural bodybuilding is the way to go.
