Chiefs Fans Are Not Happy With the Amount Raised in Honor of Patrick Mahomes’ Late Grandmother


Patrick Mahomes lost her grandmother, Debbie Martin, last month, which brought massive sadness to the entire family. It was particularly hard for Patrick’s mother, Randi Mahomes, as she was unable to forget her. Recently, she organized a fundraiser in honor of her; however, the amount was really low, which made fans disappointed.

After the passing of Debbie Martin, Randi Mahomes posted some heartfelt videos in the memory of her mother. Earlier, she took to Instagram and posted a video, and in the caption, she wrote, “I miss you.. lost three of my closest people.”


Randi started a scholarship in her mom’s name

She organized a scholarship program and promised to help out students with the name of her mom. She took to Twitter and wrote, “Starting a scholarship fund to honor my momma… every dollar will be given to a student in my moms name.”

Randi announced disheartening news

Earlier Randi took to Twitter and announced, “I was able to raise $270 dollars for my moms scholarship to honor her yesterday at the pop up in Lee’s summit… thanks to everyone who showed up”  After hearing this, many fans responded, as one user wrote, “$270 that’s it? What’s wrong with us KC? I will do at $500.” Another person tweeted, “Lets do better people.” Then many fans came forward, trying to help.
