After Lamar Jackson recently defended Brown, it seems the WR is really interested in the franchise. Recently, he claimed that he has signed with the Ravens. Some people are speculating whether Brown’s tweet about joining the Ravens is legitimate or just a ploy for attention.

AB has a history of utilizing social media platforms to create upheaval and garner notice towards himself. However, if it’s true this time, imagine the on-ground weapons Lamar Jackson would have to play with.

On 28 April, Antonio Brown tweeted that he is excited to return to the NFL this year with Baltimore Ravens, using the hashtag #RavensFlock. “Excited to return to the NFL this year. #RavensFlock” This news has sparked conversation and speculation about the potential impact he could have on the team.

Secondly, the way in which Brown announced his potential return to the NFL via Twitter is noteworthy. While using the hashtag #RavensFlock, he insinuated that he would join Baltimore Ravens; however, it’s crucial to mention that there hasn’t been any official confirmation from the team about his signing.

First of all, it’s important to note that Antonio Brown has courted various controversies over the years, involving legal issues and off-field behavior that resulted in suspensions and team dismissals.

Meanwhile, he also hinted at signing with Dallas Cowboys, last year, but the franchises never respond. So, this could be seen as a tactic to generate public interest and pressure the Ravens into signing him in 2023.

However, take note that some reports are suggesting it’s just a photoshopped image and an unintentional comeback showoff by Antonio. So, it seems that his signing by the Ravens was a near miss.

AB and controversies: An ongoing story

In his first network interview since the Bucs incident, Antonio Brown told CBS Mornings’ Nate Burleson that he acted on his heart’s belief. “I did everything necessary. You have to follow your heart in life, so I could sleep at night,” Brown said.

Last month, Antonio Brown, owner of a National Arena League team, argued with a security guard at a game. A viral video showed security forcing him off the field at an Albany Empire game. Brown’s video shows him with fans, but a guard told him to leave quickly.

Brown was also suspended by the league in 2021 for allegedly misrepresenting his vaccine status under the league’s COVID-19 protocols.

After a short tenure with the Oakland Raiders, he joined the New England Patriots in 2019. However, the team released him following allegations of sexual assault. Brown denies the claim and settled out of court.

He is currently focusing on music, he released his debut rap album ‘Paradigm’ in April 2022. So, the heightened scrutiny implies that Antonio Brown doesn’t actually seem to have joined Baltimore Ravens.
