It is finally a dream come true for the 39-year-old QB Aaron Rodgers. After a long standoff in his trade to the New York Jets from the Green Bay Packers, he has finally arrived. He will be joining his former teammate WR Allen Lazard in New York, as they both will now look to further build on their chemistry on the field at their new home ground. But, there have been varying thoughts about Rodgers’ worth and the Jets’ move. 

Amidst the celebrations, New York Giants legend Michael Strahan has his own fair share of opinions and questions of doubts about the Jets and how much they gave away for the 39-year-old Rodgers.

The former New York Giants player recently came on the ‘Jimmy Fallon Show’. On the show, he was asked about his thoughts and opinions about Aaron Rodgers being in New York. Strahan was critical in his words, as he went on to dissect how the move will look like for the Jets in the near future.

He said, “I think its great. I don’t know if they’ll get him for more than one year. That’s the first thing. But they gave up a first round pick and other stuff but it shows that are all in and they think they got a team who can make a run at it.”

He further went on to state about the dismal season Zach Wilson had with the Jets, and how Aaron Rodgers can be a good mentor for his future. He said, “I mean their QB last year, I think he needs more time to develop a little more. And I think there is no one better to learn from than Aaron Rodgers.”

Rodgers is not the first Packers player to move to the Jets, as Brett Favre famously did it before the 4x NFL MVP. But now he has a chance to do something that Favre couldn’t do. And that is to maybe fulfill the hopes of a Super Bowl Championship for the New York Jets.
