College Football Athlete Correlates Carson Wentz's Fate with Outcast Star Colin Kaepernick

Carson Wentz, an NFL free agent and quarterback star, has had a seven-season career, spending five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and two with the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Commanders. Despite reaching out to the New York Jets after Aaron Rodgers suffered an Achilles injury, fate has not been kind to the star.

Jets declined Wentz's request

A few weeks ago, the New York Jets declined Wentz's hopeful approach of becoming the team's starting quarterback. Even the New England Patriots, who needed a backup quarterback for Mac Jones, did not seem to consider the free agent a potential candidate for the team.

Parallels Between Wentz and Kaepernick

Sports enthusiast Jack Dent shared his views about Wentz, comparing it to Kaepernick's situation. He wrote on X, "What did this man do that not ONE locker room in the NFL wants this 6’5”, 230 pound QB who runs a 4.6 40 to even TRY OUT? Colin Kaepernick thing?"
