On Sunday, the Chiefs secured a 27-20 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. In his best game of the season, Mahomes threw two touchdown passes in the third quarter and completed 31 out of 41 passes for 281 yards with no turnovers.

Mahomes sheds light on Kelce's escape 

At the press conference, Mahomes fielded questions about his pass and whether Kelce was aware of it. He explained, “Travis is supposed to be on the sideline, and luckily, he was running across the field." He further said, "He’s been with me a long time and knows how to get himself open whenever he gets an opportunity.”
