NFL stars' passion in other sports has been incredible over the years. It is natural for any NFL player to keep themselves fit and build great strength which adds in a lot of value when they pursue others sports. But for the two-time Olympian Devon Allen, it has been the other way round as he is now set to make it big in NFL. But Allen was once smoked off in a race by NFL star Tyreek Hill when they were in high school.

NFL wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, Tyreek Hill received the nickname "Cheetah" in reference to his speed, following his rookie year. While in high school in 2012, Hill ran a new season-best in the 100 m (10.19 s) and a personal record in the 200 m (20.14 s).

NFL star emrging as a global sprinting sensation

At the recently held USATF New York City Grand Prix, Eagles wide receiver Devon Allen, secured a second spot in the 110-meter hurdles. He registered a time of 13.04 seconds, which is tied for the fourth-fastest mark in the world this year and he believes he’s faster than any other man in the NFL.


Devon Allen yet to prove his mettle in NFL

Though he holds a record for 110-meter hurdles, for Allen, there is still a gap in his speed in raw football ability and is yet to make to a 53-man roster. As per Allen, he deliberately took him off from football and is now getting back into it.
