Stone Cold Steve Austin had a match at WrestleMania 38 after long 19 years. He had a No Hold Barred match with Kevin Owens and wrestled all over the arena. 

The Texas Rattlesnake was in shape and gave his hometown fans and WWE universe a classic. Stone Cold, in his own manner, won the match and then popped some cans of beer. He won the match after giving a stunner to Kevin Owens.

Even though the wrestling world is talking about Stone Cold Steve Austin having a match after a long time, it was a feel-good moment for Kevin Owens. It is no secret that The Prizefight has been a lifelong fan of Austin. Tonight his WWE fan moment came true.

There are few pictures of Stone Cold and Kevin Owens on the internet. Recently some of them were resurfaced after the show was over. The pictures were of Owens with The Rattlesnake in his teens, during NXT, and one of tonight.

A wrestling page, The Wrestling Classic, posted some pictures of Kevin Owens with Stone Cold Steve Austin. The caption said, “I’m happy for Kevin Owens🥲.”

Kevin Owens, even though he lost, will be very much proud of himself after the match. He got a chance to face his favorite WWE superstar, that too in the main event at the grandest stage of all WrestleMania.

After the match, WWE interviewed Austin backstage. They asked him how he felt having a match one more time. Austin was very glad to have this match in front of the energetic Texas crowd.

Austin said, “But I give the biggest shout-out to the WWE Universe. Because I never expected to be able to headline WrestleMania at this day and time, so it’s all about the WWE Universe.”

The crowd’s reaction electrified Austin in the arena. This may be the last time we saw Austin competing in a ring, but it was nice to see him having one more match and saying goodbye on his terms.
