Aaron Judge is geared up and ready for the MLB season to start. The last few months have been filled with twists and turns as the 2022 AL MVP navigated free agency. There were rumors and speculation surrounding his future, but Judge signed a $360 million deal with the New York Yankees. Following this, he was given the captaincy of the team, officially being given the role.

In Spring Training, Judge has excelled, putting up good numbers while also showing his leadership skills in his new role. But most recently, he hyped up fans for the new season and the beginning of his era as captain.

Aaron Judge hypes up his captaincy and Opening Day
There has been a lot of anticipation since Aaron Judge signed his $360 million deal with the New York Yankees. Fans are eager o see Judge start his reign as the captain of the Pinstripes. Furthermore, there is a lot of speculation surrounding how the star outfielder will perform. Taking to Instagram, Judge expressed his excitement and hinted that he is ready for his captaincy. The Yankees’ captain is clearly excited about the start of the season and his new role as well.

In the Instagram Post, Judge said, “The countdown is over! Who’s ready for tomorrow??👀”. Spring Training has been a great way for fans to watch their stars play after a long off-season. But nothing matches the real MLB season and Opening Day will be a momentous occasion for Judge.

He starts his new role as captain and will also officially be in the first year of his new deal. Furthermore, the Yankees will be a team to watch out for as they aim for the World Series. It will be interesting to see how Opening Day goes for the Yankees and their captain.

The New York Yankees are among the early favorites to win the World Series. Experts predict that the Yankees will win the AL East and make a title charge in the postseason. Notably, the Bronx Bombers have not made a World Series appearance since 2009 and this season they may break that drought.
