Michael Beer, the man whose surname created quite a buzz when he burst onto the national scene a couple of years ago, has taken 25 wickets from his 26 Twenty20 career matches and has brought that talent to the Perth Scorchers, standing as the side’s most economical bowler in the past with 10 wickets at 21.3 with an economy rate of 5.91.

He is going to be a reckoning force in this edition of clt20 given that he is a spinner and can unrest the opposition with his tweak variations, especially in this format. He already has a lot of t20 cricket under his belt with the domestic leagues he has played.

Ashton Agar

Ashton Agar can be a handy player for the Perth scorchers this season. Being an all rounder, he can add stability to his side and give them an edge in the tournament. Ashton agar, who hasn’t played for Perth scorchers yet, had a decent season with the WA team which ultimately led to his inclusion into the test team.

Jason Holder

He can prove to be one of the most successful bowlers this season. He can exploit his height to great effect and can trouble the sub continental batsmen who are traditionally known to suffer against pace bowling. He has proved his mettle in the recently concluded cpl, where his side Barbados tridents emerged victorious.

Dane Piedt

Dane Piedt, who played well in the recent series against Zimbabwe is yet another player to look out for in this tournament.  With his sharp spin bowling, he can be quite effective in this tournament owing to the helpful sub continental conditions and his ability to turn the ball.He would be eager to cement his spot in the Cape Cobra’s squad.

Niroshan Dickwella

Niroshan Dickwella has been the backbone of the Southern Express lineup which has come a long way from the win at super 4s t20 league which ensured their qualification at the cl t20 2014.He resembles Upul Tharanga in his way of play. He has to play a major role if this team has any chance of making to the league stages.

Kuldeep Yadav

This guy is one of the rarest breeds of international cricket-the chinamen. His unorthodox bowling style can act as a surpise element for other teams and the Mumbai Indians skipper would be aware of this fact. This guy can prove to be a huge asset for his team, who would want very much to progress to the main tournament and compete for the title

Akshar Patel

He was the part of a successful KXIP squad who cruised to the final in the recent edition of IPL.He has impressed everyone with his disciplined and accurate bowling. He darts in, rattles most of the batting line up and forces them to switch to defensive mode. He acts as a lethal weapon in the kings 11 armoury and is capable of turning the match around at any time.

Ben Dunk

The 27-year old, Queensland born batsman amassed a massive 395 runs in BBL|03 to light up the league and was named BBL|03 Player of the Tournament.

He recorded the fastest ever BBL half century when he smashed his 50 off just 20 balls against the Brisbane Heat and also recorded the 2nd and 3rd highest scores of BBL|03 with 96 against the Sydney Thunder and 87 against the Brisbane Heat, two phenomenal innings which showed his powerful, destructive hitting.

Dunk secured an IPL contract with the Mumbai Indians after his strong Big Bash campaign and will be looking to make his mark on the world stage in the Champions League in September and back up his dominant year with the bat going into BBL|04.

Craig Simmons

He is another player to look out for in the present edition of cl t20. After performing exceedingly well in BBL for Perth scorcherers (even amassing the fastest ton in bbl history), he is eager to make a mark in cl t20 and show his hitting capabilities.
