Sir Curtly Ambrose one of the greatest fast bowler, the world has ever seen. West Indies was touring Australia in 1993 to play a five-match test series. After four matches the series was tied at 1-1, as West Indies managed to win the fourth game by the narrowest margin of 1 run. Hence, the last game was a decider, both team were looking for a win to seal the series.
Ambrose, who is 6’7 feet tall, took full advantage of the pace and bounce of the fast track at WACA ground in Perth.The West Indies went on to wrap up proceedings in just three days, winning the match by a margin of an innings and 25 runs to claim the series 2-1. Curtly Ambrose was amazing in the first innings, he scalped seven Australian batsmen and just one run was scored in this devastating spell.
