French midfielder Adrien Rabiot is officially out of contract with PSG come July. Now, the 24-year-old is quite eager to seek pastures away from the French capital.

The midfielder penned a pre-contract deal to split with Paris Saint Germain since January. Now, his agent, and mother, revealed PSG have approached the Frenchman to remain at the club.

The PSG player, has caught the eye of several club scouts from across Europe. This includes the likes of Premier League clubs, Manchester United and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. Now, they have even more incentive to close in, since he did not renew his contract with PSG last summer.

However, another contender has thrown its hat in the ring for Adrien Rabiot, namely Serie A champions, Juventus. In fact, agent Veronique Rabiot confirmed that moving to the Serie A giants may not be so farfetched.

Speaking to RTL about Juventus’ bid, she elected to remain coy and said, “You know football is strange and we’re all superstitiousIt’s better to remain silent until the deal is done.”

Veronique also responded to reports that Adrien refused PSG’s contract offer and refused to meet PSG sporting director Leonardo to discuss his future.

“It’s not true that Adrien refused to meet Leonardo or that he refused a contract offer made by PSG,” she added.

“It’s fake news. There have been no talks between me and Leonardo. He did call but he is a smart person he only wanted to be nice.”

Last season Rabiot was on the pitch for the Ligue 1 team on 14 occasions, scoring two goals and one assist.

According to Italian publication Calciomercato, Rabiot reached a verbal agreement with Juventus. It is reported that the signs are positive and he is ready to the sign a deal after July 1. Calciomercato also claims that he will earn €6.5million a year on a five-year contract.
