The momentum kept shifting in both teams’ favor repeatedly. It was difficult to guess who would win because of so much action and near-falls. The ‘Salt of the Earth’ proved how resilient he is when he kicked out of the American Destroyer!

The match had little homages, too! While MJF paid homage to Hulk Hogan with his style of a torture rack, Bucks acknowledged the Motor City Machine Guns when they used their Made in Detroit move!

Not just that, Chris Jericho even hit a Tombstone Piledriver on Matt Jackson, channeling The Undertaker within.

Fortunes completely shifted for Jericho and MJF in the closing moments of the match. Just as Jericho went for the Lionsault, the Bucks caught him in mid-air with stereo Superkicks! With Jericho down and out, the Young Bucks looked to get a pin following a BTE Trigger, but MJF showed off his resiliency.

MJF tried to use his Dynamite Diamond Ring but got caught in a Superkick Party instead. Jericho, who came for the save, wasn’t spared either, and even he joined the Superkick party! The Bucks finally hit the Meltzer Driver on MJF to retain their AEW World Tag Team Championships.
