As AEW continues to build itself as a formidable opposition to the WWE, it is also bolstering its roster with new superstars. The realization is simple, in the long run, it needs a judicious mix of established and homegrown stars in order to grow in terms of strength and popularity.

On the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, we saw the debut of two new superstars. While one of them is a relatively lesser-known female star, the other is a big indie name. We are talking about Abadon and Ricky Starks.

Both had impressive debuts and it looks like they are being set up for a bigger role. Abadon gained a dominant victory over Anna Jay. On the other hand, Ricky Starks tested Cody to his limits in a match for the AEW TNT Championship.

Who are these new AEW stars?

This is the first stint for Abadon in the big leagues. In the past, she has competed for the RMP Wrestling Company.

AEW had tested the waters with her when they made her compete in an episode of AEW Dark. It’s obvious that she impressed  Tony Khan and co. as they soon gave her the big opportunity.
