AEW World Champion Jon Moxley is one of the most popular wrestlers in the company. However, this is not how he first rose to fame. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’d know Jon Moxley was a decorated superstar in WWE. He debuted with the Shield – the most prominent group in the last decade. Then, he captured multiple championships on his own.

However, last year, Dean Ambrose put his “Ambrose Asylum” to rest and entered AEW as Jon Moxley. He cited “creative differences” with Vince McMahon as the primary reason. He is doing good in AEW as its current World Champion and defended the championship against MJF at AEW All Out 2020 on September 6.

After All Out was over, Moxley gave an interview to Busted Open Radio. Despite the creative differences between Vince McMahon and himself, Moxley said that he would gladly start a “Shield-like” stable in AEW.

He named Former WWE employee Brodie Lee as his preferred partner. Brodie Lee was previously known as Luke Harper in the “Wyatt Family” stable led by Bray Wyatt.

Jon Moxley said, “Sometime down the line, one day, maybe me and Brodie can do like a Shield/Wyatt super team or something. Or maybe someone that will compliment me, like a guy like PAC, or even a younger guy like Joey [Janela], or Darby [Allin], or something like that. But what the hell do I know? We’ll spend swaying futures and we’ll see, but I’ll definitely be open to the idea of it.”
