WWE has been in the news for all the wrong reasons over the past few days. After all, the company released two big names, Bray Wyatt and Ric Flair. This had led to WWE receiving a lot of backlash. During this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, The Elite had some Easter eggs in store related to the WWE releases.

A backstage segment of The Elite was filled with Easter Eggs. After all, it hinted or acknowledged at not one or two, but multiple superstars released from WWE. Although Ric Flair’s tease was the most evident compared to the rest.

AEW drops several hints regarding Ric Flair and other WWE released talent

In a backstage segment on AEW Dynamite, The Elite dropped in hints all over the map. The segment saw The Elite having a fun time with the basketball in the backstage area and then cut a promo on the Dark Order.

However, more than the promo it was the several Easter eggs in the segment that caught everyone’s eye. The most striking hint was of recently released WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair. How? Well, Doc Gallows was wearing a golden Ric Flair entrance robe!

Not just that, but several other superstars were teased alongside the ‘Nature Boy.’ Karl Anderson wore a Bollywood Boyz T-Shirt, while The Young Bucks rocked Hawaiian Shirts, possibly hinting at the first incarnation of the ‘Bray Wyatt‘ character.

No, no, that’s not all! AEW World Champion Kenny Omega rocked a Cookie Monster T-Shirt. And if we think harder, the initials of the Cookie Monster only point in one direction – CM! You’ll know the rest. The ‘Best Bout Machine‘ also dropped in some a couple of Ric Flair ‘Woo’s’ during the segment.

Now there is no guarantee if all these teases were done on purpose or they were just having fun to rile up fans. Whatever the reason may be, it was a fun segment to watch. And with all these little details, it’s always exciting to speculate. After all, we don’t know who becomes #AllElite in the future.
