‘The Exalted One’ Brodie Lee made an impressive AEW Dynamite debut earlier this year. It was refreshing to see the former Luke Harper being in his element and making most of the opportunity coming his way.

Initially, The Dark Order seemed a poorly planned stable in the making but with Mr. Lee’s leadership, The Dark Order is only getting stronger.

Brodie Lee quickly set his eyes on the championship gold. After an unsuccessful attempt at winning the AEW World Championship, Lee moved his attention to Cody Rhodes‘ TNT Championship.

On the Saturday Night episode of AEW Dynamite, he made quick work of Cody. In simple words, he squashed Cody to win his first championship in All Elite Wrestling. He followed up on the victory by brutalizing Cody and his allies, QT Marshall, Dustin Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes with the help of The Dark Order.

Brodie Lee out of action because of ankle injury

Ever since losing the TNT Championship to Cody Rhodes in a Dog Collar Match on the October 7 episode of AEW Dynamite, ‘The Exalted One’ hasn’t been on AEW Programming. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed on the Wrestling Observer Forum that Brodie Lee is out with an ankle injury.

Also, with the disclosure of Brodie Lee’s injury, we can speculate why he dropped the TNT Championship in just 46 days and hasn’t challenged for it again yet. The severity of the injury or what caused the injury is still unknown, but we hope Mr. Lee gets back in the ring at the earliest!

From taking jabs at his former boss, Vince McMahon, through hilarious segments on AEW Dynamite and Being The Elite to decimating his opponents in the ring – Brodie Lee is a boundless character. The entire wrestling world knows that Brodie Lee is definitely going to win the AEW World Championship soon.

We hope that whenever ‘The Exalted One’ is back in action, he goes for the AEW World Championship. Why? Brodie Lee is a strong character that never got his due in the WWE.

In AEW, he has the chance to show the world what he’s truly capable of. Rather, he has already shown what he brings to the table, but a World Championship feud upon his return is something we’d definitely love watching!
