MJF Makes a Strong Statement to Chris Jericho After Dominant Win on AEW Dynamite

MJF and Wardlow secured a win over Sammy Guevara and Ortiz. Following this, MJF put out a status on social media stating that there is never a good time to call him soft.

This statement was particularly for Chris Jericho.

This week’s AEW Dynamite kicked off with a standoff between Jericho and MJF. During this time, Chris Jericho referred to the pro-wrestler as “soft” and walked away to address the AEW crowd.

His performance during the match was brutal. The attacks on Guevara and Ortiz were consistent, and he did not stop until the win was theirs.

MJF has claimed that he shares a great bond with Chris Jericho. He has gone as far to call Jericho his “BFF” a.k.a. best friend.

The AEW star wants to be AEW champion using Jericho’s group

More often than not MJF has expressed his wish to be a part of The Inner Circle. This is a group led by Jericho and comprises Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Ortiz, and Santana.

He is positive that to win the AEW Championship, it is imperative he joins this group. However, to join this group, he needs the members to like him. He wants them to understand the person he is, and that he will be an asset to The Inner Circle.

“I’ve already made my intention known several times. I want to become the AEW World Champion. The best way to do that is to be a part of the best group and to be able to learn from the wealthy tree of knowledge that is Christopher Jericho. We are talking about an absurd amount of years in this business, 30 years. 30 years of knowledge. I mean who wouldn’t want to soak that in?”
