It’s unlikely that he will do anything which will negatively affect his working relationship with the NJPW.

In fact, when he was asked why he cut that promo, he revealed he asked New Japan Pro Wrestling about it, and they thought it was a good idea and a great promo. Hence, Khan went ahead with it.

Tony Khan made a huge claim about himself in the promo

In his promo, Tony Khan told Nick Khan that WWE has been talking to NJPW for two months now, but he already has cosmic plans with NJPW. Moreover, he claimed he is the only Khan who has a place in the wrestling industry.

I’ve had the New Japan IWGP U.S. Champion Jon Moxley defend the title successfully on our show, retaining it.

“I have future plans with New Japan Pro Wrestling for the U.S. title. So you must have really gotten a lot done in the last two months, Nick.
