Tony Khan, the main man at AEW, recently took a shot at WWE and New Japan Pro Wrestling having a conversation about working together. Not only this, he specifically targeted one man, WWE’s president, Nick Khan.
Now, Tony Khan has revealed that New Japan Pro Wrestling reacted positively to his barb at Nick Khan.
Some fans believe that’s not possible considering he also involved NJPW in his promo. However, Tony Khan was clever enough to not attack NJPW in his promo but only take shots at Nick Khan.

Tony Khan made a huge claim about himself in the promo
In his promo, Tony Khan told Nick Khan that WWE has been talking to NJPW for two months now, but he already has cosmic plans with NJPW. Moreover, he claimed he is the only Khan who has a place in the wrestling industry.

“Well, Nick, I have to say if you’ve been talking to New Japan Pro Wrestling for the last two months you’ve gotten a lot done! I’ve had the New Japan IWGP U.S. Champion Jon Moxley defend the title successfully on our show, retaining it.

In fact, I think there’s only room for one Khan in the wrestling business, Nick, and it’s me, it’s Tony Khan. It’s not some conman from Connecticut. Have a fun show tonight, Nick. See you on Dynamite.”
