Apart from this, Punk earned approximately $200,000 for being the cover star for WWE’s video game – WWE 2K13. He also got his cut from The Best in the World DVD, various endorsements, and merch sales.
CM Punk in UFC
After he left WWE, Punk wanted to do ‘real’ wrestling. His UFC debut was delayed for two years until 2016. Then he faced Mickey Gall on September 10 at UFC 203 in his MMA debut.
There Punk lost to Gall but took home a flat fee of $500,000. This was excluding his Reebok sponsorship. A flat fee means if Punk won, he would not get any bonus. Whereas Gall took home a victory bonus of $30,000.
His next and final MMA fight was against Mike Jackson on UFC 225. Although Johnson was declared the winner, the competition was ruled as a no-contest after Jackson was tested positive for Marijuana in his system.
In this fight, Punk earned $503,500 from his loss, $500,000 as an appearance fee and $3,500 as fight week incentive pay.
