CM Punk Makes a Shocking Revelation About AEW and Owen Hart Foundation’s Partnership

AEW is now proving to be a genuine threat to WWE in terms of ratings and viewership. Recently, AEW also honored former WWE superstar Owen Hart by forming a partnership with The Owen Hart Foundation.
Owen Hart is a former WWE wrestler and brother of the WWE legend, Bret Hart. Owen died in 1999 because of injuries he suffered while performing a risky stunt at Over the Edge Pay-per-view.
Recently, in an interview with Heelturn- Der SPORT1 Wrestling Podcast, CM Punk talked about the collaboration between AEW and The Owen Hart Foundation.

Punk revealed that he knew about this collaboration from beforehand, but claimed that it hit him like a truck when he read the press release about the collaboration between AEW and The Owen Hart Foundation.
He said, “I knew about it beforehand, but it still hit me like a truck when I read the press release just because I think it is such a staggering, monumental bridge. I think, it goes a long way to show and prove that Martha always wanted Owen’s memory to be revered and she always wanted his legacy preserved.”
“Now, the fans can embrace Owen again, like they have always wanted to. Martha can embrace the fans and support Owens’ legacy like she has always wanted to,” Punk added.
Punk also claimed that there wasn’t an outlet or place to do it before, but now there is. The former WWE Champion was even emotional while reading the press release.

CM Punk talks about the writings on his sneakers in AEW
CM Punk only debuted in AEW two months ago. But the former WWE Champion has been in the limelight since his debut for many reasons. One of those reasons is his sneaker and his writings on them.

We saw Punk wearing different sneakers during his appearances in AEW. Also, fans noticed some writings on Punk’s sneakers which became breaking news. Punk’s sneaker had “AC” and “CF” written on them during his AEW Rampage debut, and “BD” and “BW” written on them during his Dynamite debut.

Recently, speaking to the Complex, Punk revealed that the reason behind his writings on the shoes. Punk said that the writing on his sneakers was inspired by basketball players who do the same. He also praised the AEW fans for their connection with the wrestlers and claimed that he loved to have fun with the fans as they noticed every little thing.

Punk got his first victory in AEW against Darby Allin. But Punk is yet to challenge for any title at AEW. But, rest assured, with the talent he has got, it is just a matter of time till we see CM Punk challenging for titles in AEW.
