For those who don’t know, WWE superstar Adam Cole and AEW Superstar Dr. Britt Baker DMD are in a relationship. Recently, Baker gave the fans an insight into the intrigue that comes with working in rival companies.

While talking to Renee Paquette on her Oral Sessions podcast, Baker revealed that she was more competitive than Adam Cole when it comes to ‘rivalry.’ Paquette is also no stranger to this, as she and Jon Moxley used to work in rival companies too.

As Baker is still new in the wrestling industry (with five years of experience compared to Cole’s 11 years), Baker gets a little “overexcited to watch wrestling.” Adam is more content with it and enjoys video games and Twitch.

She also revealed Adam comes to AEW to mingle with his peers, “We still talk, like we don’t have two totally different lives in two different companies. It’s a lot of calls and FaceTime. It’s no secret; he comes to AEW sometimes and hangs out in the back. His best friends are the [Young] Bucks and Kenny [Omega]. He’s got tons of friends there.”

Britt Baker would love to work in the same company as Adam Cole

Britt Baker and Adam Cole briefly worked together on the Indie circuit. Cole worked in the same shows as Baker to be close to her. Initially, she was accused of favoritism because she was Adam Cole’s girlfriend. Hence, now that they are apart, she is working hard to set herself apart and establish herself instead of being “Adam Cole’s Bay Bay.”

With that being said, Baker would love to work with Cole at some point again.

“I know this is going to create a little bit of controversy, but I would love to work in the same company one day. I think it would make things a little easier.”

“With that being said, I’m probably never leaving AEW because that’s my home. I’d say absence makes the heart grow fonder,” Baker said. “Being apart it sucks, but it makes it that much more special to get to see each other again when you get a week to hang out instead of two days.”

Baker recently had a phenomenal spot when she and Thunder Rosa made history by being the first women to main event AEW Dynamite. Despite her loss, many fans and legends critically acclaimed Baker’s performance. Some even called it the greatest match in AEW history.
