There are many pro wrestling companies in the world. All these promotions work differently, as they have their own way of doing things. A WWE personality who has worked in a number of promotions is Eric Bischoff. He has served for WCW, WWE, and TNA (that now goes by the name Impact Wrestling).

As Bischoff has worked in these three promotions, he knows how each of them works. Drawing a comparison to other wrestling promotions, he mentions a distinctive feature of TNA that served as a plus point for him.

Eric Bischoff talks about the creative flexibility of TNA

While speaking during the Dissecting Aces And Eights episode of 83 Weeks, the 67-year-old confessed how easy it was to get approval from the creative team in TNA. He mentioned that in the promotion when he used to work there, the stars could try new ideas and storylines.

The WWE Hall of Famer then proceeds to give an example of Aces and Eights. It was a stable consisting of masked men riding motorcycles and taking over the roster. He says it is the best example of him utilizing the creative flexibility factor. It helped him to create an incredible storyline that was overall well received.

Bischoff speaks of the long waiting confirmation period in other promotions

During the discussion, Bischoff also mentions how long other promotions usually take to decide on their creative decisions. He didn’t directly point out WWE or Vince McMahon. But one can put two and two together and infer that he may have kind of hint towards the Stamford-based promotion, as every little thing has to go through McMahon.

“Sometimes in the creative process, you want to do something, especially if you want to change formatting or something significant. It’s like you could probably clear a heart transplant waiting list quicker than you can get an answer on the creative sometimes in the process,” he elucidated.

In addition, he once confessed that TNA owed him a six-figure amount, which indicates that even though there may have certain financial issues, Bischoff still spoke highly of his time there. However, this also led him to part ways with TNA along with other problems he had with the company. Still, he enjoyed working with TNA more because of their creative freedom.
