After the French Open 2020 packed up, it is time for the ATP tournaments to resume. The journey kicks off with the bett1HULKS indoor open at Cologne in Germany. Alexander Zverev is playing the tournament and needless to state, he has been seeded number 1. The US Open 2020 runner up will be eyeing to win his first title of 2020 in Cologne itself.

The Grand Slams are a crowd puller owing to the fact that the greatest stars of the circuit turn up to display their mettle. Therefore, it is quite difficult to find the exact thrill and excitement in the ATP tours which follows. However, the bett1HULKS tour looks promising as it could possibly host a big match in the second round.

Owing to his top seed status, Zverev has been given a bye for the first round. He is already promoted to the second round and waits for the winner of his adjacent group. It is interesting as former world number 1, Andy Murray is placed in there. The former Wimbledon champion will play against Fernando Verdasco of Spain. If he is successful in winning the tie, then we’ll see a thrilling match between Murray and alexander Zverev.

Alexander Zverev will be cautious

The German will have to be cautious about the Briton. Their last meeting was not favorable for Zverev as he lost in the hands of Murray. Facing each other in the Western and Southern Open, prior to the US Open 2020, Zverev lost the match to exit in the round of 32. Therefore he’ll be on his guard if he faces Murray once again. He’ll be looking to avenge his defeat, although for him it won’t be a walk in the park.

Apart from these two, Roberto Batistuta Agut, Felix Auger Aliassime, Marin Cilic will be entering the tournament. While Batistuta Agut is seeded second, Auger Aliassime is seeded third. Murray received a wild card entry into the tournament. He will be looking forward to producing some good results to get back his rhythm. It’ll not only boost his rankings but also give him some much-needed confidence.
