Former World No. 1 Roger Federer requires no introduction in the world of tennis. With his sensational display of tennis, the Swiss ace won fans from all over the world. Over the years, he created a special identity for himself and is considered one of the greatest assets in the game.

Recently, Roger Federer launched a new collection of Uniqlo ‘dry-ex’ t-shirts. The newly designed collection was displayed in a video that features the Swiss athlete. In the video, Federer is seen sporting the t-shirt and praising its qualities, such as its ability to quickly absorb perspiration and dry quickly, facilitating a level of comfort for the wearer.

Roger Federer prefers his clothes being extremely comfortable

In the video, Federer is seen playing tennis and stated, “My mindset on the court is very demanding of myself physically, and mentally, and also my equipment. I always look for the edge and staying dry. DRY-EX gives me that edge. What I expect from my clothes is that they need to be quick-drying, breathable, and extremely comfortable.”

Roger signed with Uniqlo in 2018. He walked on the Centre Court at Wimbledon for his first-round match and displayed his new apparel with the Japanese brand. Since then, the two have worked together on a number of new designs for the various tournaments on Tour.

Coming to tennis, the 39-year-old returned on Tour after more than a year on the sidelines. He participated at the ATP Doha Open 2021. He won his opening round match but lost in the following round. Recently, he revealed he would miss the ATP Masters 1000 events in Miami and Monte Carlo.

However, one of his biggest goals is to win Wimbledon later in the year. As he is well into the twilight of his career, fans would cherish every moment they get to witness the Swiss superstar.
