The new Airship update for Among Us is finally out after months of waiting. Airship is the game’s fourth official map after The Skeld, Mira HQ and Polus, and it is their biggest one yet. The game also introduced a few new tasks like polishing jewelry and emptying the trash.

This is the game’s first major update ever since it blew up last year during the pandemic. Even though the developers, Innersloth have just released their biggest update, they are already looking forward to the future in adding more features to Among Us.

Among Us to have 15 player lobbies

Innersloth revealed in a blog post that they are working on larger player lobbies in Among Us. With a large map like Airship, they can have games with 10-15 players and still not feel congested. There could be a possibility that existing maps like Skeld could have 15 player lobbies or receive an update to increase the map’s size. With 15 player lobbies, fans could expect the game’s future maps to be similar in size to that of Airship.

The developers have also revealed that they will release a roadmap for the game’s development to the public. With this move, fans can expect a lot of updates about the game’s future initiatives such as new DLCs, maps, cosmetic items and collaborations. As Among Us still has a small development team unlike the giants of the industry, fans shouldn’t expect to see updates flowing in much faster. But, with a roadmap and frequent news from the team, it will help the fans to understand the reasons for a long developmental period between game updates.
