Among Us to have 15 player lobbies

Innersloth revealed in a blog post that they are working on larger player lobbies in Among Us. With a large map like Airship, they can have games with 10-15 players and still not feel congested. There could be a possibility that existing maps like Skeld could have 15 player lobbies or receive an update to increase the map’s size. With 15 player lobbies, fans could expect the game’s future maps to be similar in size to that of Airship.

The developers have also revealed that they will release a roadmap for the game’s development to the public. With this move, fans can expect a lot of updates about the game’s future initiatives such as new DLCs, maps, cosmetic items and collaborations. As Among Us still has a small development team unlike the giants of the industry, fans shouldn’t expect to see updates flowing in much faster. But, with a roadmap and frequent news from the team, it will help the fans to understand the reasons for a long developmental period between game updates.

Developers working on revamping the art style

They also revealed that they are working on a full revamp of the game’s art style. One of the developers, who is popularly known as Puffballs, worked on the new design, which will have cleaner lines and an easier animation process. This might mean that the game will look much sleeker without straying too far away from the original design.

With updates like these, fans will surely be excited about the game’s future. With larger lobbies, new tasks and better game design, Among Us will continue to stay fresh for players to enjoy.
