Whenever there is a departure of any season in Animal Crossing New Horizons, many items leave the game. Similarly, players can no longer find DIY recipes for winter items in the game starting February 25.

Animal Crossing New Horizons welcomes spring

With the departure of winter, players in the northern hemisphere will once again experience spring on their islands. Not a lot of information is available on what the spring update includes item-wise. However, we know for sure which items are leaving the game with the upcoming update.

Both the small and big snowflakes will no longer spawn on islands. These were the main ingredients that players could use to craft winter-themed items. Therefore, players should stack up on as many snowflakes as possible in order to craft winter-themed items later.

The cute snowballs that players could roll around in their islands and make snowboys out of it will no longer be present. Moreover, the Frozen Furniture series will also not be available. If players do not have the recipes for the Frozen Arche and the Iceberg Wall, they should get them as soon as possible.

ACNH anniversary might have a major update

The Mario update arrives on 25th February instead of the previously announced March timeline. The idea behind this was to leave room for an anniversary update around March 20.
