The Mario update in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is just around the corner. Initially planned for March, the update will arrive on February 25 instead. While this might be a minor observation for many, it actually means so much more. Fortunately, all of it is only going to make ACNH fans extremely happy.

SwitchForce on YouTube feels that Nintendo has put a lot of thought into deciding the launch date for upcoming updates. The reason behind this is the anniversary of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. As one of the most successful games on Nintendo completes one year of launch, the company wants to give something exciting to fans.

The anniversary update would be the perfect opportunity for Nintendo to add another popular villager from previous editions of the game. It could add new elements to the game, such as a cafe for Brewster to run if Nintendo finally decides to add him to the game.

This is only one of the many assumptions about how Nintendo would like to wrap up a fantastic year for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The game has contributed immensely to the success of the Nintendo Switch. It surely deserves a blast for its anniversary.
