Upcoming changes in 2.0 update for Animal Crossing New Horizons

Nintendo releases constant updates in New Horizons to keep the user base active. The prom seasonal event will end on April 30 which means the new update will arrive in the first week of May.

Moreover, some data miners also leaked two new museum upgrades that may come in the 2.0 update. When you upgrade the museum from a tent it also adds an art gallery to the second floor.

The two upcoming upgrades seem to be two standalone buildings. Most likely, the museum shop and museum cafe may get added with this new update. Several players are already excited about the museum shop and museum cafe and 2.0 may make their dream come true.

Blathers is an owl who takes your donations of fish, bugs, sea creatures, art, and fossils and puts them on display in the museum. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Celeste’s sister of Blathers, used to sell silver tools. New Horizons has also introduced the concept of Gold tools, which are very hard to obtain and require a lot of hard work.

There’s a possibility that with the upcoming changes to the museum, Celeste may get added to the museum shop as well. She will sell gold tools to players at a very reasonable price. However, it’s just a theory so always take it with a pinch of salt.

Back in Animal Crossing: City Folks and Wild World, Brewster used to be in the museum basement. K.K. Slider also used to perform in the basement and it was the first time we saw a museum cafe in Animal Crossing universe.

Nintendo may plan to bring all those good old memories back to New Horizons. Furthermore, the developers may bring a new building to the game as a museum cafe where they can enjoy and vibe. The cafe would be incomplete without Brewster; therefore, Brewster may also arrive at ACNH in the 2.0 update.
