Turkey Day
Turkey Day will take place on November 26, 2020. Top chef Franklin will arrive and hold a meet ‘n greet in the Plaza. Players can help Franklin cook and receive a gift from him afterward. Here is an important notice from Nintendo Life about this event:
“Please note: This event requires the construction of the Resident Services building beforehand.”
Toy Day
The event begins on December 24, but celebrations from December 1 will lead to the day. Purchase toys from Nook’s Cranny or go garment shopping for holiday-themed clothing at the Able Sisters’ shop. More decorations will make your island more festive and jolly. Shake decorated trees to collect ornaments, which will ultimately help you in crafting holiday furniture recipes.
Jingle, the black nosed reindeer, will arrive on December 24, so don’t forget to meet it. Furthermore, if you help him deliver gifts, rewards await.
Additionally, the update will also introduce new hairstyles and reactions. Players can redeem it from Nook Miles at the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services.

Transfer save data in Animal Crossing
The winter update will include two new methods of transferring save data between two Switch consoles.
The first one will allow players to transfer an entire island from one console to another. This will include all members and also every customizations on the island. This is absolutely helpful if players are switching to a new console. The only requirement is access to both the consoles to complete the transfer.

The other one is ‘single-player transfer’. This will allow players to transfer a single resident from the island and all the data connected to that resident. It will not transfer the island representative. Unless there is an already populated island on the other console, it will transfer the resident to a new one.
