The Adria Tour was an event that caused many tennis players to get infected with the coronavirus. And now, it has also caused an argument amongst tennis players. The main tennis players involved in the most argument are Nick Kyrgios and Dominic Thiem who have been criticizing each other.
Kyrgios clearly does not want to end this argument he has been having as he has just taken a dig at Thiem and the other players. Check out what he wrote on his Instagram story.
As you can see in Nick Kyrgios’ Instagram story, he has talked about wearing a shirt and a mask. Here, he is referring to the partying at the Adria Tour where nobody was wearing a mask and some even removed their shirts. He has also tagged Djokovic, Thiem, and Zverev who were the big names at the party.
He has also tagged ‘doughnutBecker’. This is in reference to the argument he had with Boris Becker where Boris called him a ‘rat’ for calling out other tennis players. In response to this, Kyrgios made a joke and called him a doughnut.
Since Nick has been involved in so many controversies, such arguments are something we all expected. He has also been criticizing the partying at the Adria Tour for a long time and his Instagram story is just reiterating his point that players should not do that.
We are yet to see a response to Nick’s Instagram story by Thiem, Zverev, and Djokovic. We will probably hear from them soon but everyone will probably want this argument to end as soon as possible. And hopefully, that is exactly what will happen.
