He said: “Fritz 🤣 Where’s your top player qualities?” Another frustrated supporter expressed his disappointment, saying: “He could not break Shevchenko in numerous scenarios. Very disgusting match.” One fan even questioned his reputation and ranking. In his words: “Why is Fritz losing to anyone? But then again I never got why he’s hyped. Top 20 players at best.”

Someone even pointed out the consequences of this defeat saying: “Gosh, this is a big setback for Fritz, ATP Finals hopes in smokessssss.” A harsh critique suggested that Fritz’s credibility is in question. As per him: “Taylor Fritz YOU are on Fraud Watch.”

With ATP Finals hopes hanging in the balance, the tennis community eagerly awaited Fritz’s response. He tweeted on the situation, succinctly stating: “Tennis is rough 😐.” This tweet could be a hint at the emotional turmoil and introspection he was undergoing after this shocking defeat.
