The Roger Federer Foundation has always been a strong aid for underprivileged children. While the organization has been highly focused on South Africa, its impact on the country has been transforming. The tennis legend himself takes charge of monitoring every aspect of the initiative by visiting places to directly meet children who are being aided.

As recent events rolled out, it seems like the Swiss maestro isn’t alone on his journey to bring a change. A famous coach, following Federer’s footsteps, paved his way to Africa, to continue with the good deeds for the ones in need.

As a part of a great initiative, former tennis star Boris Becker recently paved his way to Ghana. The renowned coach shared a touching video of his visit in which he can be seen dedicating his time to offering the gift of tennis to underprivileged children. The video was a montage of moments in which Becker could be seen sharing his expertise and cheering the kids from the stands.

Along with the video that made every tennis fan appreciate his efforts, Becker also wrote a caption that not only expressed his feelings but also gave out the initiative’s target. “Transcending borders and connecting people through the universal language of Tennis. #Ghana #fullcircle,” it said.

“It was so much fun, honestly, to see it as a dad and hoping that I could spark the fire for charitable work and for my children, I think was very special. So, it was a great trip,” said Federer about his experience. The foundation has already brought changes in the lives of over 2.5 million children in the region, and attempts to cover more. As these tennis stars continue their journey to make a positive impact, the community’s name continues to be graced.
