Bad luck does not seem to leave Novak Djokovic even off the court! Remember two days ago, when Djokovic got hit in the head in the Italian Open? Well, the incident has taken a new twist now.

Novak Djokovic, who got injured by a water bottle on his head during his first round against Corentin Moutet, is now taking preventive measures for it. According to recent reports, he is going for scans on the premises of an Emergency Centre. The incident took place during the time when he was signing autographs after his victory in the match.

However, it took a dramatic turn when an aluminum bottle fell from a fan’s bag onto his head. In an attempt to protect himself, the 36-year-old player immediately put a hand on his head. Then he slowly went to the ground, keeping his head low.

After his last match, Novak Djokovic revealed how he wished to take medical care, as he had been feeling nauseated and dizzy after the incident. Although he admitted to having slept alright, the headaches caused him some trouble. However, the reports of his scans have now confirmed that there is nothing to worry about. No anomalies were observed in the reports and his health was marked as “orderly”.

Dr. Sean Mullen, a well-known neurologist, examined Djokovic’s condition and later revealed that the bottle that hit Djokovic from a height of 2 meters would not have a force greater than 79.2 Newton. Elaborating on it, he further revealed that the impact is very minimal and is not a cause of concern for Word No. 1. Therefore, Djokovic can now heave a sigh of relief. And hopefully, we will see him in his best form in the upcoming Roland Garros.
