The Australian Open 2021 is just three weeks away and players have started to land in Melbourne. They will now undergo a definite period of quarantine before playing at the Grand Slam. While most of the players are busy practicing, there is a recent update about the new outfit of the World No.2 Rafael Nadal.

Recently, Rafa’s new outfit for the Grand Slam got unveiled, and it’s surely a marvelous one. As usual, Nike is the official partner that has produced some fascinating stuff for the Spaniard.

At the Australian Open 2021, Rafa will be wearing a V-neck orange striped T-shirt with grey shorts. The shorts also have a thin strip of purple color just beside the pocket, which gives it a beautiful look. The shoes complement his attire as their soul matches with the color of the T-shirt, while Nike’s symbol goes with the strips of the shorts.

One could even see Rafa wearing a cap at the Grand Slam, which is actually a rare sight to watch. Nike released three caps of light green, skyish blue, and reddish-pink color for the 20-time Grand Slam winner.

Will Rafael Nadal succeed at the Australian Open 2021?

There is a lot of speculation about whether Rafael Nadal can lift the Grand Slam title in Australia or not. Rafa claimed the title in 2009 and hasn’t won it despite playing four finals after that.

Last year, it was Dominic Thiem who defeated Nadal in the quarters and eliminated him from the Slam. His chances look bleak this time as well since he hasn’t had a great record on the hard courts recently.

However, if Nadal manages to lift the title, he’ll become the first player in the Open Era to lift each of the Grand Slam titles at least twice. It will be a phenomenal achievement, as he’ll also surpass Roger Federer in the Grand Slam tally for the first time.

Rafa will certainly look forward to work on his block and not choke in the long rallies. He’ll undoubtedly try to change Melbourne into Paris. Will the new outfit help Nadal break his Australian Open jinx?
