No mother wants to see children suffering and struggling in the world, but for the Danish tennis player’s mother, it’s a little bit different. She is aware of the fact that her son has made it quite early into the tennis world, and she also understands that there are a lot of things that he needs to learn for his growth.

Recently, in an interview with ATP, Aneke opened up about how she wants Holger to suffer today so that he can have a good future tomorrow. Not only that, she also stated an example of how sometimes failure is a huge part of a person’s life. She stated, “For instance, after losing the Rome final, it was like suffering. Further, she also highlighted, “He’s not finding excuses and I think that’s also the way he was raised. He understands and he accepts that sometimes things are not going his way, but don’t try to find excuses.” But at the same time, rather than fighting excuses, she wants her son to keep learning and keep finding solutions so that he can adjust to the team and the game better with whatever it takes to achieve his dreams.

Although she has always tried to protect her son in every tennis controversy or issue that has been raised against them over time, she also believes in failures to have better learning in the future.
