The Laver Cup fever is back in town. After quite an emotional last season which saw Roger Federer play the last match of his illustrious tennis career, this year’s event features some of the young stars like Ben Shelton and Stefanos Tsitsipas. The 3-day event will be held in Vancouver, Canada from September 22. However, ahead of the grand event, the chairman of the tournament, Tony Godsick has faced massive criticism as a saddening reality hit this year’s edition.

Just hours ago, a post went viral on social media, indicating that there are many tickets still left to be sold out for the tournament. Although the discounted tickets have been bought by fans, premium tickets in a high price range are still left to be sold out. While one set of tickets worth $1,396 arehas not sold, another set with a whopping price of $5248 has gone unsold thus far. This results in Laver Cup facing a worrying $6.500 dilemma.
