Taylor Fritz opens up Novak Djokovic playing the US Open

Polishing himself for the US Open, the 24-year-old American is currently in Cincinnati, playing the Western & Southern Open. Following his second-round win over Nick Kyrgios, the 11th seed headed for the post-match press conference. During the press conference, he opened up about his thoughts on Novak Djokovic getting exceptions to play in the US Open.

“It’s tough. I think on one side of it, like I think it’s tough to make certain exceptions to the rules for certain people. Going ahead in the conversation, he admitted, “I don’t know how I feel about making special exceptions just for one person just because of who they are. So I see both sides of the argument, to be honest.”
