From Cristiano Ronaldo to Tiger Woods to Michael Jordan, Ben Shelton and Sebastian Korda Join Other ATP Stars to Name Their GOATs Beyond Tennis

In the world of tennis, every individual who has reached the top of their game has taken inspiration from someone who has helped them shape their career while allowing them to reach new heights in the game. While their careers are defined by their abilities with a racquet, their admiration for icons other than their native game reveals that inspiration can come from anywhere. A similar thing was experienced with upcoming tennis sensations Ben Shelton and Sebastian Korda.

Despite tennis being their main strength, in a general questionnaire, they joined other ATP stars in revealing who are their GOATs outside of tennis. While some had the most remarkable answers, some mainly went around one common name.

In a recent questionnaire, some of the biggest names in tennis came together as they highlighted the GOATs outside of tennis. Tommy Paul started the lot and showed his admiration for the NBA legend Michael Jordan. However, he was not the only one who had Jordan’s name on their lips.

Ben Shelton chose Michael Jordan as well, highlighting the success of the basketball legend. Meanwhile, Hubert Hurkacz, looking beyond tennis, still finds his answer in the basketball icon, Michael Jordan. Similarly, Andrey Rublev joined hands with the players as he named Kobe Bryant to be his GOAT.

Then came Stefanos Tsitsipas who also showed his admiration for Michael Jordan. Daniil Medvedev, in a unique twist, brought one of the biggest soccer debates to bed by combining Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi and naming them as his real GOATs outside of tennis.

Lastly, Sebastian Korda took a different route, while giving his GOAT title to golf legend Tiger Woods, whose dominance in the golfing world has left an ever-lasting mark.

Thus, these were some of the names that major ATP players chose while highlighting their admiration for players outside of tennis. A similar vice-versa was experienced a long time ago when the players of Liverpool FC, a popular English club came in and named their GOATs outside of soccer. Interestingly, it had some for the tennis world as well.

In an interesting video shared some months before, some of the players from Liverpool joined hands as they revealed their admiration for players outside of soccer. While Michael Jordan won the debate here as well, it had some names from the tennis world as well like the legendary Roger Federer.

While Roger Federer, Serena Williams, and Rafael Nadal made the cut, it was Novak Djokovic who could not make it. However, among these stars, Federer had the maximum number of calls out of the lot while Serena and Nadal had to settle for just one.
