One of the most iconic shoes in Michael Jordan‘s “Air Jordan” shoe line is the Air Jordan III in a specific colorway. That colorway is called the Air Jordan III Black Cement. And, 23XI racing’s #45 car, steered by Kurt Busch will run the Air Jordan III “Black Cement” Livery as confirmed by prominent NASCAR journalist, Bob Pockrass.

It’s great news for Kyle Busch‘s brother to find such a major sponsor for the upcoming race at Kansas. And, that too running a livery that represents such an iconic figure. However, the fans were just not having it, as it is clear from the fairly negative reactions.

In fact, many responses were targeted toward NASCAR‘s decision to move the car number away from the door. Although, the change to allow more space for sponsors. Yet, the fans are quite dissatisfied as there is no other sponsor label on the door.

NASCAR Fans Aren’t Happy With The New Air Jordan Livery On Kurt Busch’s Car

NASCAR fans are simply not fond of the new livery for Kurt Busch‘s car. Many went as far as to say that it’s “Hideous” as one Twitter user stated.

And others just found it outright disgusting.

And, of course, the hate towards NASCAR’s decision to move the car numbers away.

In fact, one fan drew a comparison to the 24 Hours of Daytona cars, as they said “It’s looks like shit dude looks nothing like a nascar between the rims and the number placement these cars look like they are racing in 24 hours of Daytona”.

However, it wasn’t all bad! Some fans really liked it, too. Possibly, fans of Michael Jordan, or snakeheads. Maybe, just NASCAR fans who liked the livery.
