However, former NBA stars such as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, John Stockton were loyal to their teams. LeBron James has won a championship with every team he played in his career. However, he once faced flak from Charles Barkley for his move to Miami Heat.

King James has now played 19 seasons in the NBA. During his first stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers, he failed to win a championship and left the franchise to join Miami Heat in 2010. This came after the controversial ‘The Decision‘ from James.

James partnered with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade in Miami and went on to play in four consecutive NBA Finals, winning two of them. The trio became one of the best in the history of the game. Former NBA star Charles Barkley once talked about LeBron’s move to Miami and winning his first championship with them.

Former NBA star Charles Barkley once talked about his decision not to join Michael Jordan or Magic Johnson’s teams in order to win a championship. He gave the example of the Miami Heat, which assembled a top roster to win a championship during the early 2020s.

“If I hadn’t known that coming back, and if I consented feeding people going to say, Charles was a great player, but he didn’t win the championship,” Barkley said.

Charles Barkley is one of the greatest NBA players to not win a championship. He won an MVP award during Jordan’s peak but lost out on the championship that season against Jordan’s Bulls. However, Barkley did change teams twice in his career, but couldn’t win a ring.

Barkley joined the Phoenix Suns, after eight seasons with the Sixers, in 1992. He then left the Suns to join Hakeem Olajuwon’s Rockets in 1996. After four years with the Rockets, Barkley retired from the game. For his contributions to the game, he was selected to be a part of the 75 best players in NBA history on the occasion of the NBA’s 75th anniversary.
