This season LeBron James has been sidelined for longer than most Lakers fans would have liked. During the Los Angeles Lakers 124-116 overtime win over Indiana Pacers, James came back with 39 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. Unfortunately, the Lakers’ win and James’ return were not without drama.

During the last few minutes of the game, James got two fans ejected from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The four-time NBA champion pointed the fans out to officials, having them ejected for something they said.

After the game, James refused to delve into what the fans actually said. As per the Akron-native, supporting your team and crossing the line are two different things. “When obscene gestures and language come into it, (it) can’t be tolerated,” James said.

Further reports added that after the game, James made it clear that it was something he would never say to a fan, and is something one should never say to a player either. In a video shared, James walks to the sidelines and points at the young fans so they can be ejected. One even fakes a cry as they were asked to leave.

In many ways, this was a proper win for the Lakers in a long time. Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Wayne Ellington, and Malik Monk all scored in double digits. While Anthony Davis is still out, the Lakers’ season might finally be looking up.

The Lakers next game is scheduled against the Sacramento Kings on November 26.
