LeBron James has definitely expanded his professional portfolio from just basketball-related things to the whole entertainment and fashion industry. From signature shoes to blockbuster movies, LeBron James has it all in his resume. And now, he recently announced that he is the campaign ambassador for Rimowa, the luxury brand of suitcases. He previously did a series of advertisements for high-quality luggage manufacturers Rimowa in 2019. However, this campaign differs from that.

Along with LeBron James, Rihanna, Roger Federer, and Patti Smith also joined this campaign. Subsequently, Rimowa has now released an advertisement featuring James. The tagline of the campaign is “No one builds a legacy standing still”. It is very relevant to how James made his career in the league, always on the move.

LeBron James’ latest advertisement for RIMOWA

This advertisement is a collage of some traveling and public speaking footage of LeBron James from his career. The message of the campaign is to promote Rimowa by emphasizing that users no longer need to worry about luggage. Instead, their focus should shift to the reason they are traveling.

LeBron speaks behind the 15-second advertisement. He says, “Travel as we knew it is over. Now it’s not about how far you go, but why you go. And who you bring along for the ride.”

Why is James endorsing RIMOWA?

LeBron James is famous for having multiple sources of income, making him the richest active professional basketball player. However, he has a different reason for endorsing RIMOWA. He has been a loyal customer for years now and when he first did a commercial for them; he admitted why he explained why he chose to promote them.

“The biggest thing for me when deciding to partner with Rimowa is that it’s super organic, because I actually carried and used the brand’s products and have traveled with their luggage for a long time. So when the opportunity to work with them came up, it was a no-brainer for me.”

Therefore, LeBron has shown us he rewards high-quality service with loyalty. This outlook isn’t restricted to his teammates on the court, but also in his personal life.
