Samson Dauda, better referred to as the ‘Nigerian Lion’ by his fans and the bodybuilding fraternity is making waves in the realm of bodybuilding. The reigning Arnold Classic 2023 champion has taken the bodybuilding world by storm, because of his surreal transformation into a mass monster. Dauda was placed sixth just after ‘Big Ramy’ in the 2022 Mr. Olympia, and that’s when he decided to come back stronger. Since only eight weeks are left for Mr. Olympia 2023, Samson Dauda is flexing his muscles, showing off on social media, and building a connection with his fans. 

A former rugby player transformed into a 310-pound beast, he is now one of the biggest competitors in 2023 Mr. Olympia. Recently, he showed his transformation from 2009 to 2023 and fans went berserk after watching it.

When Samson Dauda was living in his hometown during his days as a rugby player, he was clueless about bodybuilding. Many of his friends appreciated his physique and asked him to compete, but he never took them seriously. When he watched Phil Heath in 2013, he got intrigued by bodybuilding and took to it like a fish to water.

In an Instagram video shared by the Mr. Olympia LLC page, fans saw that Dauda was a lean guy in the years 2009 and 2011. However, he started training while he was playing rugby in 2013 and started developing some mass. Then the video switched to his 2023 physique, with a massive body, showing off his biceps, midsection, and chest.

Fans obsess over the transformation video

Fans complimented the transformation by saying, ” Wow, look at him! Did you step on the Captain America machine boy?” Moreover, some of the fans also said, “The magic of genetics,” and gave another name to the Nigerian lion by commenting, “Genetic God.” Furthermore, other fans said, “Appreciate buddy I understand how much effort. It takes to achieve this position.”

Dauda also received comments like, “Everything got big but only one thing got smaller, the competition. This guy is in his own league,” and, ” Bro literally doubled himself.” Fans from across the globe appreciated his physique and the hard work he has done from 2013 to date.
