Arnold Schwarzenegger, one of the greatest bodybuilders in history, makes sure that he stays in touch with his followers. To do that, he publishes his Daily Newsletter – Arnold’s Pump Club, sharing newly acquired knowledge about fitness, stories from his past, and sometimes, even stories from others that have touched his heart.

In the last edition of his newsletter, he let his friend, who is also the Co-Editor-in-chief of it, share the heartbreaking story of his father falling prey to cancer. However, the story was not just shared to let his friend vent out, it was extremely inspiring as well.

Adam Bornstein’s father passed away on 21st July, 2023, after suffering from brain cancer for three years. He wrote, “Some doctors told him he had six months to live, at best. They gave him all the grim stats, told him how his body would shut down, and plotted a future hell on earth.”

Bornstein further went on to add how even after getting a death sentence at the age of 65, his father chose not to listen to any of it. He got exceptionally busy living his life, rather than waiting for death. After his treatments, he would continue lifting weights and walking for miles, making sure that his diet was up to the mark.

Bornstein wrote, “My dad was a man on a mission. And the prize he chased wasn’t just time. It was quality of life and making the most of every day.” He did everything that he ever desired to and made the impossible happen by believing that it was possible. Bornstein then revealed how despite all the odds his father battled to live a fulfilled life during his last few days.
