Arnold Schwarzenegger had a conversation with Ryan Holiday at the 92NY Street lunch event of Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life. Of all the things they discussed on stage, Arnie’s description of living with pets amused the crowd the most. Schwarzenegger explained how his family of pets grew from three dogs to five adult pets and the newest addition, a pig.

Ryan Holiday shared the clip where Arnold Schwarzenegger explained just how hectic, yet hilarious, things can get. The 76-year-old bodybuilding legend even described what happens when he tries to feed one pet. However, chaos ensues when all of them gather in the kitchen. Schwarzenegger recalled what went down while feeding Lulu and Whiskey some cookies one day.

Shortly after giving them a cookie, the dogs also followed the smell into the kitchen. “Then as the pig comes in… He wants a cookie, so give him a cookie… Then of course! Lulu gets pissed off!” said Arnie. “So now she’s trampling the pig,” who “runs off screaming and the dogs run off… All this theatrics, this madness going on in my kitchen,” recalled Arnold Schwarzenegger.

While this doesn’t happen every day, similar shenanigans often occur “between six and seven o’clock in the morning.” However, that doesn’t stop the 76-year-old from working out. After spending time with his pets, the Austrian Oak starts his morning workout. In fact, sometimes he competes with his cardio by playing with the animals in his massive backyard.

The cookies that Arnie’s pets love so much are also special. Arnold Schwarzenegger even confessed to giving his two granddaughters those cookies. While it might sound shocking that Arnold Schwarzenegger fed his granddaughters the same snacks as his pets, anyone can eat those cookies.
