After a disastrous and premature end to his 2023 competitive season, Nick Walker is giving it his all in the gym. The Mutant tore his hamstring days before the Olympia and had to sit it out. However, the bodybuilding icon is now looking to make a triumphant return to the New York Pro and keep his fans updated on the progress.

With just under three weeks left for the New York Pro, Nick Walker is making every workout count. Earlier, he posted a snippet from his back day. The Mutant was performing cable rows in the clip. OKAY OKAY today was back day, wrote the bodybuilder, leaving fans awestruck.

While Nick Walker has been posting training updates for some time now, he recently earned some negative feedback on his physique updates. Fans specifically pointed out how downsized his quads looked compared to the rest of his physique. Bodybuilding fans also pointed to The Mutant’s lack of conditioning in the legs.

While Walker couldn’t train his legs for months due to the hamstring tear, many argued that the injury only aggravated the imbalance. However, it seems that Nick Walker is finally back to 100%. After the back workout, Walker later posted another comparison.

Nick Walker compared two back-double biceps poses in the post. One was snapped two weeks before the 2021 New York Pro, while another was taken three weeks ahead of the upcoming one. The image showcased just how much size the Arnold Classic champion has put in two years.

It even showed that his hamstring doesn’t look deformed or downsized despite the injury. However, fans didn’t need to see the comparison before proclaiming Nick Walker’s dominance at the upcoming 2024 New York Pro.

Nick Walker fans predict his triumphant return

Fans were convinced that Walker would emerge victorious in NY. So who y’all got for 2nd? asked one fan. Meanwhile, one fan had a much more layered argument. “There is no way he loses NY … Quinton is not yet there and the other ones are too small; I mean Tonio could win back shots and Quinton could win front shots but Nick is the best overall bodybuilder; I mean he has a chance at the Olympia, wrote the fan.

Others were awestruck at the size of his back. More muscle mass in one lat than I have in my whole body, joked one fan. Notice the size of his back and the amount of weight he using, 90% of guys in gym use more, because they’re not contracting muscles at all. That’s pro form and his back shows what he trying to do, explained a second fan. Back day, fav day bro, wrote another.

So, while Nick Walker faced a major setback in 2023, he’s ready to make his presence felt as a top Olympia contender once again.
