The natural Mr. Universe recently took to his Instagram a few days ago and posted a snippet of himself working out in the gym. The magnificence of John Hansen is still capable of leaving the fitness world in amazement. He captioned the video,DB Stiff Legs – 110’s for 3 sets of 9 reps.

In the video, John Hansen performed a Romanian Deadlift of 110 lbs using dumbbells, easily pulling off 9 reps. As per his caption, he carried out 3 sets of the same repetitions. At the end of his video, he dropped the dumbbells as if it took him no effort at all to get done with the workout.

What brought Hansen into the world of bodybuilding?

The Chicago-born legendary bodybuilder had no idea what bodybuilding was until he stumbled across a picture of his idol, Bruce Lee. Pondering upon the late martial arts superstar’s muscular and super-jacked physique left him drooling. It was then that John Hansen embarked on the journey to imitate Bruce Lee and walk in his footsteps. He started taking up Karate classes and went running every day.
